Resource 1 - Toastmasters International

Toastmasters is an international organization that helps more than 200,000 members in over 100 countries improve their public speaking skills. With more than 12,000 clubs in the world, there is probably a club (or two!) near you.

I have been a member of Toastmasters since 2003 and highly recommend it for anyone who wants to improve their speaking skills and gain confidence when speaking in public. It requires a certain time commitment, and there is a small fee to pay, but if you put in the time, you will quickly see results. Toastmasters is a very supportive place to practice public speaking and get immediate feedback on your speeches.

Their website can help you find a Toastmasters club in your area or give you advice to start a new club. The site also includes all kinds of advice on public speaking.
