Lesson 3: Pronunciation is Important!

This is a funny commercial that shows the importance of good pronunciation. Not only does the man in this video not pronounce English "TH" clearly, he misunderstands when someone else DOES pronounce English clearly. In other words, if you mispronounce words in English, it could confuse you in the future!

Vocabulary:

1. This man is in the Coastguard. The Coastguard has ships that deal with any problems along the coast of a country.

2. "May Day" is the international symbol meaning "Help". The ship is obviously in trouble.

3. Of course, sinking means that the ship is going underwater. He did NOT say "thinking"!
