American English and British English Compared
My students learn American English from me but often need to communicate with people from all around the world,
many of whom have learned British English. To help my students, I introduce the list of common words (see chart below) that are
quite different in British English. When speaking English, you should focus on one way, either British or American,
but you should be familiar with both. Good luck!
