"Most successful people do more listening than talking".
We can learn a tremendous amount by listening. (That's why you do dictations here!) But in our every day lives, we try to speak out and communicate our ideas in order to make a good impression. Whether at work, in our families, or in society, we talk in an attempt to influence others. This quote suggests we need to learn more. That's what successful people do, so maybe we all should do this.
